About Us

Our Design Philosophy

At Denricher, our design philosophy centers around creating homes that are not only visually stunning but also deeply personal and culturally resonant. Every project we undertake is guided by a singular goal: to envision and create spaces that reflect our clients’ lifestyles while incorporating heritage and tradition into contemporary living.

We believe that every space tells a story, and our designs strive to bring those stories to life by melding the timeless appeal of culture with innovative, contemporary elements in the perfect fusion of form and function.

Our core expertise lies in our spatial visualizations and our ability to transform design ideas into beautifully crafted floor plans that capture the heart of your living space.

Our Core Values

Embedding Heritage in Every Design

We believe that culture and values are intrinsic to who we are, and we strive to weave this thread into every design. Whether it’s through exceptional spatial design, wall treatments, or custom furnishings, we find imaginative ways to infuse culture and heritage into the right places in your home. From seamlessly integrating a client’s treasured artifacts and artwork to creating bespoke designs that honor their heritage, we transform spaces into homes that tell a story.

Repurposing and Adapting Design

We believe that a home should be as functional as it is beautiful. Our design process begins with a deep understanding of our clients’ daily lives, routines, and long-term needs. We don’t just design for today; we anticipate tomorrow’s challenges and opportunities. Whether it’s reimagining space planning, repurposing existing fixtures, or integrating advanced safety features, we adapt each space to fit the lifestyle of its residents. Our goal is to create homes that are not only aesthetically enriching but also practical and enduring, catering to every need—both now and in the future.

Collaborating with Master Artisans to Create Unique, culturally rich homes

What makes each Denricher project truly distinctive is the collaborative effort we bring to every detail. We work with master craftsmen, local artisans, and talented designers from across the globe to create one-of-a-kind cultural pieces that elevate each space.

Whether it’s working with a temple architect to design a miniature pavilion for a private altar or collaborating with stained glass artisans to breathe life and colour into a partition, we ensure that each element is crafted with care, authenticity, and reverence. Every project becomes a unique expression of our clients’ personalities and histories.

Meet Chandra Ravi

FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR
The Denricher journey began in 2007, when Chandra Ravi, our principal interior architect, began reconstruction work on an ancient Hindu temple near Coimbatore, India— a five-year long project that led to its eventual consecration in 2012.

This deeply transformative experience, along with her passion for architecture and design, led to Chandra formalizing her expertise with a certification in Interior Design from the Rhode Island School of Design. This was followed by a Master’s in Interior Architecture and Historic Preservation from the Boston Architecture College, where she earned the prestigious Edwin T. Steffain award for Best Thesis in 2019.

In 2023, Chandra’s dedication to design, inspired by her rich experiences across India, the US, and Singapore, led to the formation of Denricher. Her unique blend of cultural reverence, artistic inspiration, and innovative design philosophy drives Denricher to harmonize heritage with modern living, bringing spaces to life in ways that interweave tradition with contemporary elegance.

In addition, Chandra has actively collaborated with the National Heritage Board of Singapore to document the architectural heritage of the historic Srinivasa Perumal Temple, as well as the Kangayam Temple in India, for their historical archives.
